How to pay

There are three methods of payment: internet, phone and prepaid card.
Both internet and telephone payment ask you for the number of the phone for which
you are paying the subscription, and both require credit card details.
In the interests of your security, please notice that neither Susana, nor its parent company MTS,
requires or obtains your name, address or credit card number,
and does not see, hear or record your instructions to your credit card company.

guided through the payment process.


Paying by phone:
If you wish to register and pay, or to top up your subscription by mobile or landline phone,

Call 800 300 100 and choose the third option.
You will be greeted by the words
'This is the payment and top up line of Susana’s interpreter service'
asked how many minutes you wish to buy and whether you wish to pay in $US or £ sterling.
When you choose, you will be advised that
'We now need to take details of your debit or credit card.'
Once you have done this, you will be told
'We have activated your account and you have the services of an interpreter into Japanese for 5 (or 10 or 20) minutes on this phone whenever you need them.
If you want an interpreter immediately press one, and if not press any other number to end the call.'

Paying by prepaid card:

If you wish to pay by this method, you must first purchase a card from a reseller,

When you call Susana, choose option three and you will be asked to enter the activation number on the back of the card.

You may top up your account at any time by calling Susana and choosing option two.

Whichever method you choose, your subscription will be activated within seconds of your payment being confirmed and accepted. Unused interpreter time is not refundable. Your subscription expires after one calendar year without use or topping up.
